As the principal of York Street Studio, Rachelle brings her extensive experience in client service, team management and cross-disciplinary collaboration to every project. With an approach to timeless design grounded in restoration and functionality, Rachelle is dedicated to helping her clients create beautiful spaces that are home to their most cherished moments and memories.

Prior to founding York Street Studio, Rachelle was a corporate public relations and brand management advisor at a leading global marketing agency. She directed the development and execution of dynamic strategic plans across multiple account teams for some of the world's most well-known consumer brands. Rachelle leverages this experience in team leadership and complex project execution to bring a streamlined and collaborative approach to all of her projects, clients and partners at York Street Studio.

Her love of historic homes and admiration for extraordinary craftsmanship began as a young child - hovering around her grandfather’s workbench, spending summer afternoons learning basic carpentry and assisting him with routine home repairs. This interest eventually led to an early career experience in commercial building and project development. Rachelle uses her understanding of large-scale planning and building processes to help guide her clients toward informed decisions that lead to efficiency, improved communication within project teams, and a more positive home building experience.

 

In 2011, Rachelle combined her love of historic homes and expertise in project management to restore a 1925 Dutch Colonial Revival that would become the first home to her growing family. Soon after, she helped renovate and restore several historic properties and homes for family and friends. In 2018, Rachelle founded York Street Studio with the restoration and sustainable redesign of an 1896 brick home in Denver’s Clements Historic District.

Rachelle lives in Denver with her husband, two daughters and one unruly dog named Bear.
